Grants

From 2006 to 2009, Pierre Fournier Award gave a series of grants to promising young cellists at UK music schools.

We offered grants of £600 over a four-year period to The Yehudi Menuhin School, Chethams, St Mary’s, Edinburgh, Wells Cathedral School and the Purcell School of Music. These grants were to further the solo careers of promising young cellists, encouraging them to aim towards participating in The Pierre Fournier Award.
