Pierre Fournier Award

We are delighted to announce the Winner of the 2023 Pierre Fournier Award – 25 year-old American Annie Jacobs-Perkins. Annie was partnered on the piano by Dina Ivanova

Annie impressed the judges with her performances of Elliott Carter and Fauré and will now receive a recital at Wigmore Hall, a CD recording on the Champs Hill label, recitals with Manchester Mid-day Concerts Society and Oxford May Music and a concerto appearance with the Philharmonia Orchestra.

A Special Commendation and £1000 was awarded to Antonin Musset, plus three Commendation Awards and £500 were each rewarded to Bryan Cheng, Senja Rummukainen and Samuel Niederhauser.

 

Finals for the next Pierre Fournier Award will take place on 29 & 30 April 2026 at Wigmore Hall. First round is by video audition. Applications will open in October.
